2017 Trail of Lights Fun Run

6:30 PM | Zilker Metropolitan Park

Get fit AND festive tomorrow evening at the annual 2.1 mile fun run at the Austin Trail of Lights! There's still spots open so register now: you'll get a sneak peek at the annual light display and enjoy live DJs, a dance party, food and drink from local food trucks, holiday photo ops, and other fun activities. There are giveaways and a costume contest so get those elf shoes and santa beards ready to go :)

Holiday Sing-A-Long and Downtown Stroll

5 PM - 9 PM | Congress Ave. Between 9th & 11th Streets

Ring in the holidays with some caroling downtown on Congress Ave. and live performances from Austin favorites Riders Against the Storm, Gina Chavez, Charlie Faye & The Fayettes, and more! There's a special night market, Santa photo booth, dance performances, and annual lighting of the downtown tree.

The Muppet Christmas Carol on 35mm

1 PM | Bullock Texas State History Museum

Bring the whole family to the Bullock Museum's Texas Spirit Theater for a special, multi-sensory viewing of the Muppet remake of the Charles Dickens' classic, featuring enhanced sound effects, live falling snow, and more!

German-Texan Christmas Market

1 PM | German-Texan Heritage Society

Enjoy the beautiful gardens, wine sampling, food and drink from Frank, and a day of shopping authentic imported German crafts and goods at the German-Texas Heritage Society! Each year they import traditional German Christmas pyramids, schwibbogen, nutcrackers, smokers, handmade ornaments, and so much more to share with the city of Austin. You'll even have a chance to win two plane tickets for a 2018 vacation to Germany! Don't miss this.

Winter Wonderland at the Circuit

6 PM - 10 PM | Austin360 Ampitheater/ Circuit of the Americas

Still can't get enough holiday fun? Austin360's Winter Wonderland is the place for you. It's practically a winter/holiday themed carnival that dreams are made of, decked out with a skating rink, petting zoo, camel rides, carnival rides, a hot air balloon float, singing tress, and all of the Christmassy fun that your heart desires. Art From the Streets

11 AM - 5 PM | Austin Convention Center

Support local art and the Art From the Streets organization at their 25th annual show and sale this weekend at the Austin Convention Center! AFS provides an open studio space to Austin's homeless or recently homeless community to help foster creativity, and raises funds for the artists through this annual sale and showcase of their work. There will be thousands of art pieces for sale and many of the artists will be present to talk about their work as well.

Blue Genie Art Bazaar

10 AM - 10 PM | Blue Genie Art Bazaar

The annual Blue Genie Art Bazaar will be "turning holiday shopping upside down" yet again this year from Nov. 24th through Dec. 24th at their Airport Blvd. location. For those unfamiliar, it's a massive indoor shopping center that hosts a diverse range of over 200 local and regional artists and craftsmen, entry is always free AND a portion of all sales go toward the Make-a-Wish Foundation.
