AUSTIN -- Mark your calendars -- the 50th Austin Trail of Lights is fast approaching, featuring new and updated displays.

The new displays include an interactive Santa's workshop, new movable parts to Toyland and new features to Tiny Town. The foundation will also restore the Yule Log this year since no burn ban is currently in place.

"The Yule Log will burn steady throughout the two weeks of the Trail of Lights this year," said Jason Rhode, president and CEO of Cirrus Logic. "It will serve as a warm and final stop along the trail for individuals and families to make or rekindle lasting memories."

The Trail of Lights kicks off Dec. 7.
