AUSTIN -- X Games announced next year's Austin competition will take place June 4-7 at Circuit of the Americas.

Chase Hawk, X Games 2014 BMX Park gold medalist and Austin native, made the announcement Thursday at the Trail of Lights at Zilker Park.

Tickets for X Games Austin 2015 will go on sale Jan. 23 at Ticketmaster.com. Fans can register for the presale ticket list at the X Games website.

In addition, Hawk announced two events will be added to the 2015 event: Moto X QuarterPipe and Big Air Doubles.
