+ Getting There: ADA Parking, Pick-Up & Drop-Off & Shuttles

Accessible Parking, along with all parking, must be purchased in advance online and is available on a first-come, first-serve basis with very limited availability. In order to access ADA accessible parking, please purchase a regular parking pass online for the night you wish to attend. When you arrive at the Trail, follow the map and driving directions on the parking pass to the traffic checkpoint, present your state-issued placard or plates along with your purchased parking pass to the traffic/parking attendant, then follow staff instruction and signs to the designated ADA parking area. Vehicles must display a state-issued handicapped plate or placard and the person to whom the placard or plate is issued must be present in the vehicle. Disabled Veterans receive FREE parking on any night with their credentials. Accessible parking is limited and first-come-first-served. Parking lots open at 5:30 pm nightly.

ADA Pickup and Drop Off is available to vehicles displaying a state-issued accessible license plate or placard. The person to whom the placard or plate is issued must be present in the vehicle, as a driver or passenger. As part of gaining access to accessible drop-off areas, identifications will be checked to ensure legitimate use of these items. Directions to this drop-off/pickup area are to follow Mo-Pac Service Rd. to Andrew Zilker Rd. From there, present your state-issued placard or plates to staff who will guide you to the correct location for the designated location.

Shuttles will be running from the Burger Center in South Austin on December 13, 14, 19, 20, 21, 22 and 23, 2025.

Shuttles depart for Zilker Park between 5:30-8:30pm. Shuttle guests can access the Trail of Lights beginning at 7:00pm via a dedicated shuttle entry lane at the Grand Entrance.

The last shuttle returning from Zilker Park leaves at 10:45pm. Shuttle pick-up & drop-off at Zilker Park are in the same location near the Zilker Tree. Additional information on CAPMetro's Accessibility accommodations can be found here (link here https://www.capmetro.org/accessibility).
