+ PLAN AHEAD

Austin Trail of Lights works closely with the City of Austin and surrounding neighborhoods to minimize the event’s impact on the community while maximizing the guest experience. However, we encourage you to give yourself extra time to arrive at the Austin Trail of Lights as downtown Austin traffic may be congested or delayed, and road closures will be in effect.

There is one specific driving route that MUST be followed to properly access the Trail of Lights, Austin’s iconic holiday celebration. Refer to your ticket or the Driving Directions above for the proper driving route. You will not be able to access Trail of Lights any other way.

Upon following the Lake Austin Blvd driving directions will lead you to the Trail’s vehicle arrival queue where your vehicle admission pass will be scanned and verified, and then you will be staged for proper entry for your designated time slot purchased.

ARRIVE NO EARLIER THAN THIRTY MINUTES BEFORE AND NO LATER THAN ONE HOUR AFTER YOUR SCHEDULED ENTRY TIME.

Vehicle admission passes are required per vehicle and must be purchased online in advance. Max vehicle occupancy of 9 people.

Outside food and beverages are permitted, no alcohol.

Face coverings are required upon entry and any interaction with staff or other guests.

All guests must remain fastened inside the vehicle at all times.

So plan ahead, relax, enjoy the lights, and drive-thru the magic!
