The Austin Trail of Lights is an outdoor walking trail throughout beautiful Zilker Park. No vehicles, carriages, or other motorized options are permitted to drive through. In addition, the Trail does not permit pets or animals (unless properly credentialed service animals). The Trail itself is 1.25 miles, but with all of the other fun activities, the average trail-goer will walk about 2.5 miles during their visit, including the walk to/ from the parking areas. The Trail site terrain is a mix of grass, cement, and asphalt. Grounds could get muddy with weather. Please take considerations when choosing footwear for the evening.
